Hangers
An experiment in imagination
The challenge is to reinvent an otherwise banal object so it becomes something more curious.
One can relate to the familiar shape of the common coat hanger; however, slight changes can inspire many unexpected and imaginative purposes.
Each hanger relates to an absurd scenario from my own imagination. Once the hangers escaped my possession they were able to take on a life of their own. The hangers found homes where they adopted new functions and provoked new stories.
